Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas and mix in butter.
  3. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix that up.
  4. Add baking soda, salt, and then the flour (don’t overmix).
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  6. Bake for 50-60 min. Toothpick should come out clean.
  7. Let it sit for 10 min, then cool on a rack.
