Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
A delicious banana bread recipe that I personally make every month, hoping to share with you and encourage you to try it. .
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- optional stuff:
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas and mix in butter.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix that up.
- Add baking soda, salt, and then the flour (don’t overmix).
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
- Bake for 50-60 min. Toothpick should come out clean.
- Let it sit for 10 min, then cool on a rack.
